Sherburn High School celebrates its best ever GCSE results!

This summer our Year 11 students opened their results’ envelopes to fantastic GCSE grades. Students demonstrated ambition and commitment in their learning and worked hard to achieve excellent grades across their subjects, with three quarters of students achieving a grade 4 and above in Maths and English and more students achieving grades 7 to 9 in all subjects. These results not only represent individual dedication and effort, but also reflect how the year group came together as a community to work hard in their lessons and apply themselves in their revision.

The results represent the culmination and reward for their impressive focus and we congratulate the year group on their achievements throughout their school careers. We have welcomed members of this cohort into Year 12 as they begin their A levels and the next chapter in their educational journeys. We wish all of our students the very best and success in their endeavours and future careers.
